Financial Operations Contractor

Essential Qualifications/Experience:

·       2+ years of professional experience (in last 5 years) in accounting, finance, travel management or closely related fields

·       Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, banking, economy, public administration or closely related field

·       The Contractor shall possess a high level of proficiency in standard Automated Data Processing (ADP) tools, including:

ü  Microsoft Office Suite: Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

ü  Microsoft SharePoint: Practical experience with site navigation and document management

ü  Financial Management Systems: Demonstrated experience operating comprehensive accounting software/systems

·       Native English language speaker or individual presenting very good command of spoken and written English, with a proven ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing at the level of (SLP) NATO STANAG 6001 - 3333 (Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing)

DUTIES/ROLE:

·       Process monthly claims of JATEC UKR staff members with regards to their living costs and accommodation entitlements. This includes checking the documents received, calculating the entitlements and processing in FinS for further approval

·       Process travel claims of JATEC UKR staff members. This includes checking the documents received, calculating the entitlements and processing in FinS, for further approval

·       Prepare reimbursement documentation for JATEC UKR SMEs supporting JATEC’s POW. This includes checking the documents received and calculating the reimbursement for approval

·       Enter new JATEC UKR staff members and UKR SMEs profiles into FinS

·       Prepare the necessary documentation (i.e. Purchase Requests) for the Authorised Requestor entry into FinS for:

ü  JATEC UKR staff members living costs and accommodation entitlements

ü  JATEC UKR staff members travel requests

ü  UKR SMEs travel, accommodation, subsistence allowance and other related requirements

ü  Other potential similar transactions following the regulations in force
