Essential Qualifications/Experience:
· Educational Background:
ü The Contractor shall hold a relevant university degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a closely related field
· Financial Expertise:
ü The Contractor shall possess demonstrated knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliation, and financial control processes, including the ability to apply these practices in a structured institutional environment
· Analytical Competence:
ü The Contractor shall exhibit strong analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and reliability in all financial outputs
· Work Approach & Team Integration:
ü The Contractor shall demonstrate the ability to work independently while effectively integrating into a multinational team environment, contributing to collaborative objectives and cross-functional coordination
· Institutional Framework Familiarity:
ü Familiarity with NATO financial procedures or comparable institutional financial frameworks shall be considered an advantage
· Professional Experience:
ü The Contractor shall demonstrate professional experience in financial management, accounting, or budget administration, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality financial support services
DUTIES/ROLE:
· The contractor personnel shall support financial operations and provide expertise to ensure continuity of branch activities during the transition period
· The contractor shall provide qualified financial management and accounting support services (non-personal services) including, but not limited to:
ü Support to daily financial management and accounting operations
ü Assistance in budget monitoring, financial reporting, and reconciliation activities
ü Support in the preparation and review of financial documentation and reports
ü Assistance with financial data analysis and tracking of expenditures
ü Support to compliance with NATO financial regulations, procedures, and internal controls
ü Assistance with coordination between the Finance & Accounting Branch and internal AIRCOM stakeholders
ü Administrative and analytical support related to financial processes
ü Liaise and oversee the AIRCOM travel office with the support of Dir. Fin
ü Liaise with and support Accounting & Travel staff in subcommands (CAOC Torrejon, CAOC Uedem, New CAOC Bodo and DACCC)
· The contractor will provide mandatory reporting to higher command as per Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe’s (SHAPE) directives and defined deadlines
· The contractor personnel will not be allowed to make decisions, represent or be responsible for or exercise authorities attributed to an “officer” of the organization
