Essential Qualifications/Experience:

·       Higher vocational training or secondary education

·       2-4 years of experience Supply, Logistics or Supply Chain Management

 

Desirable Qualifications/Experience:

·       Experience with Oracle Enterprise Business Applications (EBA) or CNAFS

·       Completion of IPSAS – Asset Management Course

·       Completion of Certified Asset Management Professional (CAMP) Course

·       Knowledge of NATO Logistics Regulations

·       Prior experience of working in an international environment comprising both military and civilian elements

·       Knowledge of NATO responsibilities and organization, including ACO and ACT

DUTIES/ROLE:

·       Distribution Center Management - GCF

ü  Works with Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) basic processes and operations

ü  Maintains item and inventory management records

ü  Helps minimize bottlenecks and delays and the resulting impact on operating costs

ü  Uses real-time inventory software, with guidance, to move supplies where needed, when needed

ü  Assists in resolving issues related to physical space management

·       Inventory Management - GCF

ü  Coordinates daily work of inventory management for different locations within a facility or a supply network

ü  Devises standard inventory management benchmarks to improve the processes

ü  Ensures that the inventory is at an appropriate level and meets both internal and external requirements

ü  Provides guidance on inventory management for a specific product group or location

ü  Applies systems and processes to identify and coordinate inventory requirements, resolves conflicts

ü  Reviews reports used for inventory management to find out related problems

·       Logistics Management - GCF

ü  Develops and analyzes logistics plans that affect production, distribution, and inventory

ü  Manages logistics processes through process improvement, prioritization, and project planning

ü  Implements and maintains monitoring systems to provide information on shipment status, shipped date, in transit location, estimated arrival date, and actual delivery date

ü  Works with historical, legislative and practical issues associated with domestic freight

ü  Participates in contract negotiations and interfaces with selected carriers necessary to maintain expected levels of service

ü  Consults on all major logistics processes, their interactions and operational requirements

·       Supply Chain Management - GCF

ü  Recognizes software systems or components used to manage supply chain

ü  Participates in supply chain analysis and uses it to spot trends and improvement opportunities

ü  Discusses considerations for integrating partner and supplier transactions

ü  Summarizes supply chain considerations for different types of products

ü  Works with a specific part of supply chain management process

·       Warehouse Management - GCF

ü  Analyzes and documents key performance indicators of warehouse management in own area

ü  Assists in implementing mechanization approaches and techniques in a distribution center

ü  Collects and translates the business requirements for specifications of warehouse management systems

ü  Performs basic warehousing activities such as receiving, putting away, picking, packing and shipping merchandise

ü  Maintains warehouse equipment and facilities on a regular basis

·       Assists in maintaining NCIA CIS Assets Property Accounting Records for NCIA Entities and External Customers within CSU AoR

·       Enables Customer logistical requirements within Service Level Agreements (SLAs)

·       Enables the execution of Annual Inventory Inspections in accordance with NCIA Directives and coordination with Account Holders in NCIA Entities and External Customers within the CSU AoR

·       Conducts detailed analysis of the Asset Management system deficiencies and provides solutions in line with existing standards to ensure operational readiness for all customers

·       Monitors Account Holder inventory balance lists ensuring all CIS equipment discrepancies are fully identified, investigated, documented, and reported. Also implements corrective actions in accordance with NCIA directives

·       Assists in processing Requisitions and Receiving goods through the Enterprise Business Application (EBA) system

·       Responsible for shipping and receiving equipment between CIS Sustainment Support Centre (CSSC), distributers and stakeholders
