Essential Qualifications/Experience:
· Knowledge of Information Computer Technology (ICT), with five years’ ICT experience in a comparable professional setting
· Practical experience in the design, development, implementation, testing and maintenance of a common document repository and collaborative tool and platform integrating new policies, processes, technology and organization
· One year experience in the last three (3) years in managing a platform comparable to LAWFAS as described above
· Experience in functional support in the form of investigating and resolving problems, documenting solutions and implementing continual improvement processes
· Experience demonstrating the ability to perform assigned tasks without immediate direct supervision
Desirable Qualifications/Experience:
· Experience working in or with NATO
· Experience assisting users to use a platform comparable to LAWFAS
· Professional knowledge of French language (STANAG 6001)
DUTIES/ROLE:
· Update and explore technical and organizational solutions for securing and assuring the data in LAWFAS
· Administer the LAWFAS platform through creation of new accounts, reset of expired passwords, and providing training and assistance to users
· Manage the process for publishing information using the LAWFAS platform:
ü Define publishing workflows
ü Upload and collect missing/new documents
ü Review uploaded documents
ü Complete metadata
ü Publish curated documents to authorized users
· Develop templates and processes to implement data standards for LAWFAS records. 16.2.5 Develop collaboration workflows and/or workspaces for ACO OLA and other NATO entities. Prepares technical, functional and user documentation
· Analyse and continually improve the usability of the LAWFAS platform
· Archiving:
ü Apply the NATO Information Management Policy (NIMP)
ü Contribute technical expertise to inform potential revision of the NIMP
ü Define archiving workflows and processes
ü Develop processes and technical solutions to manage and archive currently non-digitalized records
· Provide SME advice for the management and validation of the operational software requirements for the LAWFAS tool, such as data configuration management, database operation, data migration, and problem correction
· Provide LAWFAS SME tools Help Desk assistance to LAWFAS’ users
· Conduct user requirements capture and use case production for the LAWFAS functional enhancements by the software technician. Investigate and identify technical solutions in liaison with the NCIA
· Perform general IT / CIS support for the ACO OLA in liaison with the NCIA
· Develop workflows and workspaces to facilitate legal office collaboration with other NATO entities
· Support LAWFAS-related conferences and meetings, providing protocol support when required
· Provide LAWFAS user training
· Coordinate with the SHAPE Reprographics Section in support of the above
· Perform other related technical and administrator duties as required in support of OLA, within the general scope of LAWFAS technical and administrative support services
