Software Development Engineer

Essential Qualifications/Experience:

·       Recent experience in Development, deployment, and maintenance of server-side logic:

ü  proficiency in Java and Python,

ü  solid SQL knowledge and data schema design

ü  good understanding of Git for code versioning

ü  CI/CD with Jenkins/GitLab,

ü  rigorous automated testing

ü  experience with Linux operating system

ü  experience with container engines (Podman/Docker)

·       Translation of UI/UX designs into responsive web applications:

ü  experience with web application frameworks like Angular or React

·       Legacy application experience:

ü  debugging issues in older code bases

ü  modernizing legacy systems

Desirable Qualifications/Experience:

·       Recent experience with Hibernate, Protocol Buffers, gRPC, Ansible, Kubernetes, event streaming platforms; experience with Command and Control applications, recent experience with Spring framework, Familiarity with ICC
