Technician Comms Operations and Maintenance Services in Logistics Section

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

Essential Qualifications/Experience:

·         Secondary education and completed advanced vocational training leading to a professional qualification or professional accreditation with 3 years post related experience

·         Knowledge of management and maintenance of CIS equipment and integrated logistic support

·         Experience with G|S-related logistic strategic focus

Desirable Qualifications/Experience:

·         Experience in NATO working environment or other international organizations

·         2 years' experience in management and maintenance of DCIS equipment

·         NOSS experience

·         ITSM knowledge

·         Driving license B

DUTIES/ROLE: 

·         Plans Deployable Communication and lnformation System (DCIS) maintenance within the area of responsibility with emphasis on future NATO Signal Battalion operations

·         Coordinates the Lcgistic strategic focus performed by Logistic support Section, and plans Section area of responsibility within operational focus in order to accomplish the NATO Signal Battalions' current and future tasks

·         Coordinates the management of CIS Static equipment of the NSB

·         Assesses the maintenance of NATO Signal Battalion equipment

·         Co-ordinates logistics functions in accordance with ACO and Battalion Directives

·         ln the provision of the required services the contractor will be requested to drive the vehicle, up to 3,5 tones, with passengers, load for long distances
