Principal Technician (LAN Administration)

Essential Qualifications/Experience:

·       Strong expertise in campus routing and switching technologies

·       Hands-on experience with Cisco SD-Access, including IS-IS and LISP

·       Familiarity with Cisco Catalyst Center (formerly DNA Center)

·       Solid understanding of network security fundamentals, including:

ü  802.1X authentication

ü  AAA services

ü  RADIUS and TACACS+ protocols

·       Proficiency with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) Qualifications

·       Minimum certification: valid Cisco CCNA

·       Preferred: CCNP (Enterprise, Service Provider, or Security) or CCIE

DUTIES/ROLE:

·       Design, deploy, and maintain campus LAN environments

·       Monitor and troubleshoot network performance and connectivity issues

·       Support lifecycle activities from initial deployment through decommissioning

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network reliability and security

·       Travel to remote sites in the Netherlands and Germany as required
